Job Description:Performs and demonstrates competency, proficiency and understanding of the test procedures in the Clinical Laboratory up to and including high complexity testing.Education:

• Bachelor of Science Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or Microbiology - RequiredExperience:Additional Experience Requirements:If no B.S Degree in the above areas, must have a Bachelor's Degree with specific completed course requirements outlined below:
  • 16 semester or equivalent quarter units of chemistry, which must include clinical chemistry or analytical and biochemistry.
  • 18 semester or equivalent quarter units of biology, which must include hematology, immunology, and medical microbiology.
  • 3 semester or equivalent quarter units of physics (light and electricity).Certifications/Licensures:
    • CLS Clinical Lab Scientist (MTA) - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service or
    • Clinical Microbiologist Scientist - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service -- RequiredWork Shift:08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$60.12 - $81.15HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
