About the job:
- Report patient progress or issues to the supervisor and other team members; educate the patient's family or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
- Assist with patient scheduling and update patient records with daily charges.
- Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
- Keep equipment and the work area safe and clean.
- Fulfill job responsibilities in line with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, relevant professional standards, and applicable state and federal laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- COTA state licensed
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
- CPR certified

General Purpose: A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists Occupational Therapists (OTs) in helping patients perform daily activities and improve their functional skills. COTAs implement therapy plans designed to enhance a patient's ability to perform tasks related to self-care, work, and leisure activities. They work closely with patients to ensure progress, maintain records of treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed under the supervision of an OT. COTAs empower patients to achieve greater independence in their daily lives.
