Description: The FlexNet supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and/or coordinating work activities and resources necessary, for safely manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications, and to support other departments in manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)

• Lead safety culture of the department.
• Lead the shift teams. Set goals and assimilate work processes.
• Responsible for the 24/7 ongoing operation of production in the department. Provide technical support and solutions for the machines.
• Build a weekly and daily work plan in accordance with the planning requirements.
• Analyze performance and promote continuous improvements in accordance with department goals and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Be an active partner on dept. engineering projects. Implement processes and upgrades with guidance from engineering team.
• Lead the LEAN processes on the production floor.
• Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customers' expectations.
• Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Netafim's strategic initiatives.
• Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned department for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-on basis, depending on need.
• Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem solving.
• Manage spending against budget, controlling spending in relation to changes in production volume.
• Work to establish best practices throughout department which include all employees' positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action.
• Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety behaviors. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
• Support other departments with resources in lean period.
• Maintain personal skills and development by keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts.Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 plus years of supervisory experience in a progressive production environment.
  • High energy level required.
  • Proven leadership, strong and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Must be a self-motivated, results-oriented, and hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture and develop a high-level, dynamic team.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESShift Leads, technician, operators.
    LANGUAGE SKILLS Excellent verbal and written in English.Fluent in English.
    SKILLSAdvanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email is required. SAP knowledgeable.
    PHYSICALPotential for extended periods of standing/walking in and around the production facility.Potential for long periods of sedentary computer data analysis.Under some circumstances, will be required to be On Call for this 24/7/365 production facility.
