Job Summary:Community Medical Centers is seeking a Clinical Educator to join our team in Fresno, California. As a Clinical Educator, you will provide education to CDI team members in the areas of coding, clinical documentation improvement, and regulatory and billing compliance.Responsibilities:

• Provide education to CDI team members on coding, clinical documentation improvement, and regulatory and billing compliance.
• Strive to meet the comprehensive needs of the Clinical Documentation Improvement staff and providers in a safe and caring professional manner.
• Collaborate with Coding, Quality, Care Management, and other departments to design, develop, schedule, and present educational materials based on identified documentation needs throughout Community Health System (CHS).
• Collaborate with CDI leadership for maintaining and improving documentation and clinical skills through professional development and serves as a role model for other clinicians.Requirements:
  • One of the following is required: Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing, Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school, Medical Degree from a foreign medical school with successful completion of the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Exams, or Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • 5 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting with demonstrated expertise in Med/Surg, OB, Trauma, ICU, and/or CCU required.
  • 3 years of Clinical Documentation Improvement experience required.
  • Strong understanding of the requirements for clinical coding and billing according to the rules of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers required.What We Offer:
