Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:

Currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a contract to full-time perm role in Sacramento, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides primary care including episodic, preventive, and acute health care to adult patients.
Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards.
Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed.
Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients.
Maintains medical records. REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years minimum experience
- Valid CA License
- Current DEA Certificate HOURS:
  - Mon Friday 8- 5, 8 hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts .
